About the Rodeo
“We’re baaaaaaaa-ack!” the honkey-tonk Midnight Rodeo returns to Katy, Texas in 2011.
Well truth be told, we never wanted to leave. We love Katy. When Circuit City took over the Midnight Rodeo lease space just a few short years ago, the search began then and there to find a new home for the “Acre of Dancin’ & Glancin’” that became home for thousands of 2-Steppers everywhere west of Houston.
Located at 402 West Grand Parkway — that’s pretty much Grand Parkway @ I-10 — as part of Times Square, next to the bowling alley, you’ll find, once again, “One Giant 2-Step for Man!”
Over 15,000 square feet await you, graced with over 3,000 watts of crystal clear, heart thumping sound. And both the space and the state of the art sound system are guaranteed to make your boots want to grace our dance floor from the moment you enter. Even better? Multiple bars (3) allow multiple bartenders (9 wells) to serve your desires of any adult beverage quickly, efficiently, and most importantly — friendly — or, a.k.a. “The Midnight Rodeo Way.”
“I’ve waited for this day a long, long time,” says Area Manager, Duane Thompson, who comes back to his home to assist in the opening. “I wouldn’t miss this for anything! I so look forward to personally greeting those who I’ve missed, as guests and those who helped keep the idea of a return of Midnight Rodeo to Katy alive and well for so long!”
The design in the room, including allowances for traffic flow is unequaled by any country bar for miles in any direction and the well lighted, security enhanced parking lot will deliver another asset of “The Midnight Rodeo Way” which is leaving guests feeling comfortable and assured of their safety at all times.
